      <description>&lt;p&gt;I recognize that I&amp;#8217;m a couple of years late to the party, but I just caught &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XpnKHJAok8"&gt;this video&lt;/a&gt; of &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linus_Torvalds"&gt;Linus Torvalds&lt;/a&gt; giving a demo of his new-ish Source Code Management (SCM) tool called &lt;a href="http://git.or.cz/"&gt;git&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m a long time &lt;a href="http://subversion.tigris.org/"&gt;&lt;span class="caps"&gt;SVN&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; user and probably won&amp;#8217;t be switching whole hog right away, but so far the arguments seem compelling and my first walk-through was a real pleasure.&lt;/p&gt;
